How do I measure my door correctly?

Please Do Not just measure the inner opening. You need to measure the exact frame area where you will stick the Velcro. We cut the screen to the exact dimensions you provide.Width: Measure the outer width of the door frame (left edge to right edge).Height: Measure from the top of the door frame down to the floor.(Tip: If you are unsure, we recommend adding 4cm to the width and 2cm to the height of your inner opening to ensure a secure fit.)

Do I need any tools to install this?

No tools are required. We provide a roll of heavy-duty adhesive velcro. You simply clean your door frame, stick the velcro tape, and press the screen onto it.

How long does shipping take?

Production time: 2–3 business days (each order is made to measure).Shipping time: Most orders to the UK and EU arrive within 7–15 business days after dispatch, depending on your address and carrier. You’ll receive a tracking number by email once shipped. Your estimated delivery window is shown at checkout before you pay.

Can I change my size after placing an order?

Because we start customising your screen shortly after the order is placed, please contact us within 3 hours of payment if you need to change dimensions. Once production has started, we cannot modify the size.

Do I need to make deductions for clearance?

Accepted Answer

No. Please provide the final finished size you want the screen to be. We will manufacture it exactly to your specifications without adding or subtracting anything.

Will the Velcro damage my door frame?

Accepted Answer

We use high-quality adhesive that is strong enough to hold the screen but can be removed. For most metal and vinyl frames, it leaves no residue. If you have painted wood frames, we recommend warming the Velcro with a hair dryer before removal to protect the paint.

Can you make a custom size for my RV/Camper?

Yes! Because we cut everything to order, ZOORSCREEN is ideal for motorhomes, caravans, campervans and boats with non-standard openings. Just select “Custom size” on the product page and enter your exact dimensions.

Can I take it down for the winter?

Yes! Because it is installed using Velcro, you can easily peel the screen off the frame for winter storage. The adhesive strip remains on your door frame, ready for you to re-attach the screen next spring.

What material is the screen made of?

Unlike cheap polyester screens found in supermarkets, ZOORSCREEN uses heavy-duty fibreglass mesh with a PVC coating. This material is weather-resistant, chemical corrosion-resistant, and tear-resistant. It keeps its shape well and withstands sun exposure without fading.

How do I clean the screen?

We recommend wiping it down with a damp cloth and mild soap while it hangs. Do not put it in a washing machine or tumble dryer, as the tumbling may damage the magnets and mesh structure.

What if I measured my door wrong?

Every screen is made to your measurements. You may return it for any reason within 30 days of delivery; we cover return shipping, including measurement mistakes. See our Return & Refund Policy.

Is it pet-friendly?

Absolutely. Our centre seam uses segmented magnetic strips (15 cm segments) that snap shut instantly. Your dogs or cats can push through easily, and the screen will close automatically behind them, keeping bugs out.

Can I install this on a sliding glass door?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For sliding doors, you can install the screen on the exterior frame. Since our screens open in the middle, you can easily walk through either side. Just measure the frame around the sliding opening.

What counts as a "Quality Issue"?

Accepted Answer

Quality issues cover manufacturing defects such as torn mesh upon arrival, weak magnets, defective velcro, or sewing errors. In these rare cases, simply send us a photo, and we will rush a replacement to you immediately.

Will it blow open in the wind?

We have engineered our screens with wind resistance in mind. Besides the segmented magnetic strips (15 cm segments) along the centre seam, we add extra gravity sticks (weights) at the bottom hem to keep the screen down and prevent it from being blown open by moderate breezes.

Will the magnets stick to the metal frame?

If you have a metal door frame, the magnets in the middle of the screen might be attracted to the frame if it’s very narrow. However, for most standard metal frames, this is not an issue as the screen is taut. If you are concerned, please contact us with a photo of your door.

Does the black mesh block out light?

Surprisingly, no. Our high-density black mesh creates an optical effect that makes it almost invisible from the inside looking out. You get excellent airflow and a clear view of your garden while keeping bugs out.
